The Painters Coat

Inspired by the classic oversized coats worn by artists throughout history, our much-loved Painter’s Coat is made from a soft and sturdy recycled cotton twill. A versatile, grab-and-go coverup that pairs beautifully with a dress and boots or jeans a T-shirt, its midweight material combines warmth, comfort and breathability for everyday wear—and like most Anián styles, it’s manufactured in a unique, dye-free process to reduce its environmental impact, saving water and using no harmful chemical dyes. Designed specifically for women with an oversized aesthetic and a flattering drape, it has a roll collar, matte buttons, single-button cuffs and two hidden pockets at the side seams, each amply sized to hold a phone, keys or other small essentials. As functional as it is sophisticated, the design also features a longer scalloped hem that falls below the seat while offering graceful freedom of movement.

15-oz 80% post-consumer recycled cotton/20% nylon. Soft, warm and breathable with a natural drape, this comfortable blend is manufactured in a unique dye-free process for reduced environmental impact.

GARMENT FIT –
This garment was designed with a roomy, oversized aesthetic in mind. For oversized styling, choose your regular size; for a more formal, close-to-body fit, we suggest moving down one size. See our sizing chart for further details.

WASHING GUIDE –
Wash in cold water and hang to dry. To reduce energy and water use, we recommend washing only when necessary. Less washing also gives your garments a longer life.
